CLASS DESCRIPTIONS Vinyasa: Think of Vinyasa like jazz, improvisational, unpredictable and exciting. Like jazz we have a hot and sweet variety. Both classes blend posture and breath to create a flowing sequence. While hot vinyasa will challenge your strength and stamina, creating intense heat and a lot of sweat, Sweet Vinyasa will give you more time to linger over the postures and create a moving meditation. Ashtanga and Short Form
Ashtanga: This vigorous practice includes Sun Salutations, standing,
balancing, seated, and inverted postures. Short Form Ashtanga is an
abbreviated version and while challenging, is a good place for
beginners. |

Slow Flow: Great for beginners and those with back pain! Flow through twisting, standing, balancing, and weight bearing postures at a steady slow pace. This practice will leave you feeling stretched out, strengthened, and relaxed. Yoga Virgins: Feeling a little freaked out by yoga? Let us talk you through your first practice. Learn about breath, meditation and that famous downward facing dog. Follow The Yogini: This practice is a quiet, meditative form of Ashtanga with very little verbal instruction. Prior experience with Ashtanga is strongly recommended. Yin Yang This class helps to boost mobility and flexibility through long held deep stretches and to boost strength and stamina through weight bearing postures. It is a quiet and meditative practice in which we may move through only a few postures in an hour. This class is open to everyone and is a great addition to a regular vinyasa or slow flow practice. |
