  • Randie

Randie is an herbalist, doula, yoga teacher, movement educator, rites of passage facilitator, and writer. Living in Michigan with her husband and two daughters on the land her paternal line has farmed and tended since the late 1800s.

She was catapulted into the work of reclamation after the birth of her first daughter when the lack of village became painfully apparent. A potent dark night of the soul left her with a deep-rooted homesickness for a time that once was, and a message to step back into a way of being not so long forgotten. Ritual and ancestral connections have been the medicine that eased this feeling of displacement and loneliness. Her mission is to share that with others, in remembering belonging has always been ours.

  • Heather

Hi, I’m Heather Barnes. I’ve been practicing since 2001 and teaching since 2007. Yoga has helped me feel at home in my body and I love sharing the practice with others. Exploring a functional, sustainable approach is my focus while respecting the tradition of the practice. My aim is to provide relevant classes for every body.

  • Emily

Hello friends, I’m Emily. I have been practicing yoga since 2014. I completed my YTT 200 hours at Ethos in the fall. For me, yoga is more than just fitness, it has shifted my mind, body & soul, as well as helping me to see my path, which I believe is to be of service to my community and Spirit. It is with deep honor and gratitude to be able to serve and hold space for women and men who are ready to take their practice to a healing level.

I am a small business owner & am a lover of all things nature. I live a life free of mind & mood-altering substances. I feel the most at home in the mountains and my cat is my best friend!

    With love & gratitude
    Em

  • MaryAnn

Hello! My name is MaryAnn. I have been practicing yoga at Ethos for over 11 years. I was hooked with my first class and have enjoyed a regular practice ever since. Learning to quiet my mind through breath and movement has been an integral part of my journey to become grounded and fully present in my life. I am grateful for the Ethos community and the opportunity to guide you in practice as you move, breathe, heal and grow.

  • Kelly Zeid, Yoga Teacher

    Kelly

I came to yoga looking for some pain relief and a little bit of self-care. But what I found was so much more than that and what I truly needed more than anything else. I found a community so welcoming and supportive and respectful and honoring of everyone’s own personal journey and reasons for being there. I found a place where I could allow the world to fall away and turn inward, even if just for an hour. I found the courage to face my fears and learned how to sit with uncomfortable feelings, knowing that I’m held and safe in that space. I found a practice that could push me out of my comfort zone, challenge me both physically and mentally, yet wrap me in a cocoon of nurturing restoration… or transformation, whichever I needed at that moment. I found a new path that has led me back to myself, step by step, layer by layer, still excavating, always learning, but forever changed. My goal as a teacher is to hold space for others to find this sanctuary on their mats, within their minds and bodies. To create an environment where energy is sacred, and the wisdom within the body can be illuminated and revered. To share a practice that teaches me how to feel safe and held and beautiful and whole, just the way I am, just the way you are. This is so much more than yoga.

  • Abbi Roach, Yoga Teacher

    Abbi

Abbi completed her teacher training at In Harmony Yoga fall of 2019. Her teaching style is introspective, with an Intention to hold space in a supportive and restorative manner. Her classes will leave you feeling lighter and more in tune with yourself. When not at Ethos, teaching or co-facilitating Rooted in Ritual, you may find her taking her cat and dog for a walk on local trails, in her home studio making Ancestral Adornment, or connecting with like-minded souls.
