This gathering is the culmination of years of community tending, visioning, and remembering—brought forward by Randie Bowler of Ethos and the How to Be Human Collective.
For three nights, we re-create the village. On the river. Around the hearth. In rhythm with the land.
Nestled away in Hersey, Michigan, this is a three-night re-creation of what it means to live, learn, and rest in community. Our time together is shaped by ritual, storytelling, myth-making, dreaming, ancestral skill-sharing, community weaving, and deep, intentional rest.
Days unfold slowly and intentionally—moving between shared meals, time on the land, ceremony, learning, and spacious rest. Evenings draw us inward around the fire, where story, song, and presence remind us of what has always been known: belonging is built through relationship.
