"There is some strange intimacy between grief and aliveness, some sacred exchange between what seems unbearable and what is most exquisitely alive." - Francis Weller
Intellectualizing our grief is not the same as feeling it. When practiced intentionally, yoga can help us tend to grief in an embodied way. Using some teachings of Francis Weller, we will move through a meditation and asana practice designed to name, feel and integrate the grief that exists inside us all. More so, explore how tending our grief can break us open to greater depths of purpose and intimacy.
Whether you are dealing with a large life transition, loss, or a macrocosmic grief for the state of the world, this class is for you.
